Ben joined Nutopia in May 2008 from the BBC where he worked for BBC Science. Ben has almost 20 years experience as Executive Producer and Director specialising in popular science and specialist factual programmes. For the past 5 years Ben has executive produced a range of series for US and UK Broadcasters. As a producer/director his part of the BBC1 landmark series Wild Weather was nominated for a BAFTA and as a writer/director his drama documentary If...The Lights go out for BBC2 was nominated for an RTS Award.
