Following two years as Head of Specialist Factual Development at talkbackThames, Bruce Hepton joined Nutopia in March 2012 as showrunner on '1980s: The Decade That Changed Us'. He is also set to expand the company’s ‘mega-docs’ genre into new territories.  Bruce started his career as a BBC graduate trainee, progressing to work on a variety of BBC shows including Tomorrow’s World. This was followed by a spell on Channel 4’s Top Tens series, before moving on to direct single documentaries for all the major UK channels and US networks and then two years spent as an executive with Discovery US.
