Director of Finance, Non Fiction, for ITV Studios until 2010, overseeing a large Factual and Entertainment slate including ‘Dancing on Ice’, ‘Come Dine with me’ ‘Tonight’ and ‘Countdown’ in addition to the integration of 12 Yard Productions into ITV Studios. Prior to that, Financial Controller for ITV Worldwide overseeing the Production offices in USA, Australia and Germany.
Head of Finance for English National Opera 2003-2006, appointed at a key time for the organisation as it worked towards a sounder financial model following an exceptional assistance grant from the Arts Council and a Lottery Grant to restore and update its home, The London Coliseum.
1999-2003 Granada Productions – Financial Controller for Granada within its Factual & Drama Division with output including Cold feet, I’m a Celebrity and Prime Suspect following roles within its International Distribution arm and Broadband division including a year working for a Granada funded internet start up in addition to working on joint ventures with Boots, Littlewoods and Manchester United.
First role in Media was at BBC Worldwide starting in the Publishing Division before moving across to the International TV Division to assist setting up the UKTV Channels Joint venture with Flextech and ending as Investment Manager evaluating the secondary revenue potential of BBC output.
Trained as a Chartered Management Accountant within HSBC Group.
