Jane is a leading Creative Executive Producer who has transformed major networks on both sides of the Atlantic. Previously President of Discovery Networks and Controller of BBC2, Jane set up Nutopia which, since its launch in 2008, has created international formats, won awards, achieved record-breaking ratings and pioneered a new genre of television – the mega-doc.

Carl is experienced in film and television industries internationally, commencing his career with the James Bond franchise before making feature films for the US majors, in studios and on locations around the world. Based in Los Angeles for 11 years, he has a Law degree and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PWC.

Helena has delivered content for major broadcasters on both sides of the Atlantic. Before joining Nutopia she held Head of Production and Line Producer positions in some of the UK's leading independents. Helena works across company operational activities as well as partnerships, company strategy, staffing, communications, emerging technology and growth in ancillary areas.

Caroline oversees all the company's production output. She has many years’ experience as a Line Producer, Production Executive and Head of Production for some of the UK’s leading independent production companies and has extensive experience in factual, entertainment, reality, drama doc and arts programs, delivering to both UK and US networks.

Simon is integral to driving the company’s creative strategy and manages relationships with key industry partners. He continues to oversee the development team, where he previously oversaw the conception and launch of several global hits for Nutopia, including One Strange Rock for National Geographic, Babies and The Last Czars for Netflix, and The World According to Jeff Goldblum for Disney+.

Sou joined Nutopia in December 2017. Prior to this, she worked in corporate finance within the TV industry for a number of years, 14 years of which at All3Media, where she was the Head of Finance, Group Tax and Treasury and was a key member of the management team involved in its sale to Liberty Global and Discovery. Sou is responsible for both the company and production finance. She is a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA).

Natalie is responsible for bringing new creatives to Nutopia. Prior to joining the company to set up the Talent department, she was a programme maker and commissioner with some of the UK’s leading indie companies and broadcasters including the BBC and Discovery.

Mo has two decades of experience within the post production industry. Since joining Nutopia, he has built an in-house post department, increasing capacity and putting in place new workflows in order to deliver a high level of quality and efficiency on shows for Disney+, Netflix and Amazon.

Matt is a dynamic creative who has originated, sold, written and exec produced numerous shows for multiple networks. Before joining Nutopia, he was head of Factual Entertainment at Sacha Baron Cohen and Andrew Newman’s indie Spelthorne Community Television. There, he created and exec produced a raft of projects for a variety of broadcasters including the internationally sold hit show Let’s Talk About Sex. Prior to this he was Head of Development at Rumpus Media where he created numerous projects including the award-winning Asian Provocateur with Romesh Ranganathan.

Sam oversees the day-to-day running of the development team across all genres. Joining Nutopia as a Researcher in 2015, Sam has been instrumental in developing much of Nutopia’s landmark premium content, including Babies for Netflix, The World According to Jeff Goldblum for Disney+, and the upcoming National Geographic series Limitless with Chris Hemsworth and One Strange Rock 2 with Will Smith. Prior to joining Nutopia, Sam was a broadcast writer at Canada’s CTV News Channel.

Danny has 8 years’ experience in the media industry, from VFX and Animation production to tour management in the music business. But, since 2017, he’s been lending his expertise to managing Nutopia’s front of house staff and ensuring the smooth running of our 4 office spaces, and all our remote work-spaces. He is also responsible for internal communications, company social events and, with Naoma, day-to-day management of our work experience programme.

Naoma works alongside Natalie and is responsible for supporting the productions and Nutopia as a whole in finding and recruiting talent at every level. Her particular focus is on entry level and junior staffing. Naoma also runs our work experience programme, building relationships with a number of industry organisations and universities. Prior to joining Nutopia in 2017, she worked for a recruitment agency for the creative industries, where she was responsible for growing and managing freelance talent pools in the UK and Middle East.
