Steve Condie to helm and exec produce landmark History Channel film
Nutopia has recruited Mercury Studios and former BBC exec Steve Condie to steer its landmark Tom Hanks World War II doc.
Condie has joined the Limitless and Bad Surgeon indie to showrun and exec produce the 20-part untitled doc, which spearheaded A+E Networks-owned The History Channel’s slate of tentpole factual orders last week.
Condie will exec the doc alongside Ben Goold. He joins having previously served as senior vice-president of content at Mercury, a role he took up in 2021.
