Our work culture

Committed, innovative and passionate.

Our shows are some of the most ambitious in the world, but we pour just as much passion and commitment into making Nutopia a great place to work. From internal training initiatives to industry-leading diversity partnerships, we have nurtured a company culture that prioritises physical and mental wellbeing, community and diversity.

We are trying to build one of the most informal and friendly working environments in the industry, with a genuine understanding that work/life balance is key to both happiness and productivity.  We are proud that people choose to work at Nutopia as much for this, as they do for our shows.

Whether you’re starting out in TV or already established in your career, we are always looking for talented people to join us at Nutopia!

If you would like to get in touch with the Talent team for more information about opportunities to work with us, please contact info@nutopia.com.

Work Experience

Nutopia’s work experience scheme is back up and running with a new hybrid set up combining office and home working. Placements last 2 to 4 weeks and are paid at the London Living Wage. Our primary aim is to give participants insight into the production process from development through to post production.

As well as being a valuable introduction to the industry and life at a busy production company, we hope time with us will help individuals take their next steps and make informed career choices for the future.

Unfortunately, we are only able to offer placements to those aged 18 years and over, with the right to work in the UK.

To apply, please send a brief cover email and CV to info@nutopia.com and answer the following questions:

1. What are you watching on TV and why?

2. Tell us about an achievement you are most proud of?

3. What dates are you available for work experience?

4. What would you hope to gain from an internship at Nutopia?

Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we regret that we can only respond to individuals that we would like to invite for interview.

We also work with the PACT Indie Diversity scheme which offers a 6-month paid placement to entry level individuals. Applications are closed for 2022, however you can find more information here https://diversity.pact.co.uk/indie-diversity-training-scheme.html
